
Self Defence
The classes focus on techniques that hold up outside of a gym. We pull from multiple disciplines (the useful parts) and adapt them for how situations actually unfold in everyday life. There are no belts, no one-upmanship, nothing to prove. People come in unsure of themselves and leave with a different kind of confidence. The fitness is almost a side effect.
What you'll learn
Strikes & Combos
Punches, palm strikes, elbows and kicks that work under pressure.
Clinch & Close Range
What to do when someone grabs you: releases, controls, and escapes.
Ground Defence
If you end up on the floor, you'll know how to get up and stay safe.
Weapon Awareness
Basic awareness and principles for dealing with armed threats.
Situational Awareness
Recognising and avoiding danger before it escalates.
Who is it for?
Open to all adults (18+). Both Tuesday and Thursday welcome complete beginners alongside more experienced members, so either night works as a starting point.
